Neben Schloss Neuschwanstein, dem Schloss Herrenchiemsee wohl eines der beliebtesten ausflugsziele für touristische aktivitäten.Es ist verständlich denn St. Bartholomä am Königssee im Nationalpark Berchtesgaden steht vor einer wahnsinnigen Kulisse. Der Watzmann Ostwand eine der längsten Wände in den Alpen.????

Die Wallfahrtskirche St. Bartholomä

Die Wallfahrtskirche befindet sich auf der Halbinsel Hirschau und ist somit nur mit Alpiner Erfahrung oder den Booten der Bayerischen Schifffahrt erreichbar. Zweites dürfte der angenehmere weg sein. Bereits um 1100 n.C. befand sich die erste Kapelle am Königssee. Die heutige Kapelle St. Bartholomä wurde zum Jahr 1700 n.C. errichtet. Restauriert im Auftrag von König Ludwig der II um 1860 n.C.

Falls du auf der Durchfahrt den Königssee inkl. St. Bartholomä besuchen möchtest gibt es in Schönau am Königssee den Parkplatz Königssee / Jennerbahn Parkplatz ↗. Achtung SKIGebiet.

Zu beachten gibt es bei der Schiffsüberfahrt das es Sommer ( 21.04. – 14.10 ) und Winterzeiten ( 16.10. – 20.04. ) gibt! ( Angaben Fahrplanauskunft bayerische Schifffahrt )

Kinder bis 5 Jahre sind Frei

Kinder von 7 – 17 Jahren erhalten 50% auf den Erwachsenenpreis

*Familien Rabatt: In Begleitung eines vollzahlenden Erwachsenen (Mama, Papa, Oma oder Opa) fährt das erste eigene Kind/Enkelkind bis 17 Jahre zum Kinderpreis – alle weiteren eigenen Kinder/Enkelkinder von 6 bis 17 Jahren für je 1 €.

Die Wanderung zum Malerwinkel am Königssee gut im Falle dass du warten musst auf ein Schiff!

Wanderung zur Eiskapelle am Fuß der Watzmann Ostwand

Im Sommer ist die Wanderung zum Gletscher / Eiskapelle am fuß der Watzmann Ostwand eine schöne Wanderung!

Im Winter ist die Eiskapelle nicht zu sehen und auch der Weg ab der Hälfte meist nicht ungefährlich!

Der Königssee ist ein Tourismusmagnet im Nationalpark Berchtesgaden und so sind auch die Preise angesiedelt! Wenn ihr eine Familie habt nehmt euch eure Getränke mit sonst kann es ganz schnell mal sehr Teuer werden! Wer den Massentourismus entgehen möchte sollte früh aufstehen und immer das frühestmögliche Boot zu St. Bartholomä nehmen. Wer die möglichkeit hat außerhalb der Ferienzeiten seinen Urlaub zu Planen sollte dies nutzen.

Hike to the ice chapel at the foot of the Watzmann east wall

In summer the hike to the glacier / ice chapel at the foot of the Watzmann east face is a nice hike! In winter, the ice chapel is not visible and the way from the half is usually not dangerous!

The Königssee is a tourism magnet in the National Park Berchtesgaden and so are the prices settled! If you have a family take your drinks with you otherwise it can quickly become very expensive! If you want to escape the mass tourism should get up early and always take the earliest possible boat to St. Bartholomew. Those who have the opportunity to plan their holidays outside holiday periods should take advantage of this.
