The treetop path in / near Ebrach in the middle of the beautiful Franconian nature park Steigerwald . 42 meters high and a total of 1150 meters long , the Wipfelpfad meanders through the Upper Franconian Steigerwald nature park. The highlight of the mostly through the treetops running path is of course the Kelchförmige observation tower with the height of 40 meters.

At the highest point of the treetop path leads you gently to the top . No stairs and no steep climbs . Even wheelchair users have the opportunity to fully navigate the treetop path ! Fully accessible and wheelchair accessible!

To children , and adults, including the nature and the forest closer to bring was an interactive app developed on numerous stations via smartphone / cell phone to join in and play stimulates . Free for Android and IOS available. On the complete path see free Wi-Fi available so this is synonymous for everyone usable even without data consumption! Super solved by the Bavarian State Forest.

A deer and deer enclosure is located at the end of the first section directly under the treetop path , with feeding possibility .

Also incubators of birds can from the inside by installed cameras are observed (for breeding season).

In addition, a petting zoo (petting zoo) with little goats and rabbits awaits the youngest visitors at the exit .

Adults pay € 9 per person, adults from € 15 pay € 8 each

Children from 6 to 16 pay € 6, children groups and school groups from 15 people pay € 5. Prices are available on Baumwipfelpfad Steigerwald. ↗

Baumwipfelpfad Steigerwald in Ebrach Opening hours:

Summer opening hours: 1st April to 31st October, 09:00 to 18:00

Winter opening hours: 1st November to 31st March, 10:00 to 16:00

Entry is until 1 hour before closing.

Please note that due to weather conditions the treetop path Steigerwald can also be closed early for safety or not open at all! Car and bus parking spaces are sufficiently available! E-car charging stations and e-bike charging stations can be found at the respective parking lots.
